Here's what happened at Oinkernet when a 6.8 magnitude quake hit near Olympia, Washington, home of GPTV. The shaking started on February 28, 2001, at 10:55 a.m., PST. Watch the bell hanging on a chain to the right of the screen. At 29 seconds into the clip is the exact moment. Everyone is OK. Just a little shook up, as were we all. We videotape the Oinkers during the day to play back over night, so the little critters can get some sleep. This video shows their reactions to the shaking. The object falling into the rear pen with Emily and Charlotte is a plush toy, which they fortunately did not try to consume. The video ends when the power fails. |
