Charlotte 1/1/2000 - 10/25/2002 Charlotte Brownty was my special piggie friend for almost two years. She loved to be under the covers and would sleep peacefully in my lap for hours, snuggled under a towel. She was also the fastest piggie we ever had, built small and lean for speed. I would have bet on Charlotte in any guinea pig race. But she had breathing problems from a very early age. We nursed her through several bad spells, hand-feeding her favorite foods - strained peaches and fresh dandelion leaves - keeping her warm, and giving her lots of TLC. In the end, though, it wasn't enough. She left on her journey to the Rainbow Bridge and we are the poorer for her passing. M.
